The Class of 1980 proudly announces their upcoming 45th Anniversary Reunion, to be held at the school premises from Friday, October 17 to Sunday, October 19, 2025.
This milestone gathering will bring together classmates, teachers, and friends to celebrate 45 years of shared history, friendships, and achievements.
The reunion program will feature:
Day One:
Friday, Oct. 17, 2025.
- DMGS1980-Set entering the school compound in a convoy and alight from their vehicles.
- Welcome Address by the Principal and his Management team.
- Response and Remarks by the President of the 1980 Class, formally declaring the 45th Anniversary open.
- Marching into the Silver Jubilee (SJ) Hall for an Interactive session with current students and camaraderie with old DMGS songs and music from the DJ.
- Jumat service along with current students at Ijero Central Mosque.
- One-hour visit to the exhibition corner.
Day Two:
Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025.
- Launching of the DMGS 1980Set Social Welfare Purse.
- Tour of the classrooms and hostels.
- Novelty Match with current students.
Day Three:
Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025.
- Sunday Service along with the students, followed by a career guidance talk and a sumptuous lunch with staff & students.
- 45th Anniversary celebrations close.
The 1980 class set organising committee warmly invites the entire DMGS OSA to support and join in celebrating this special occasion, as we honour the Class of 1980 and the lasting legacy of our alma mater.
